The Kristie Ann Gonzalez Lung Awareness Foundation is a foundation dedicated to finding a cure for ADENOVIRUS, the deadly virus that attacks small children to adults, often leading to severe complications that can lead to death.

The foundation was created in memory of Kristie Ann Gonzalez of Atascosa, Texas, who died at the age of 14 years old June 21, 2008 from complications of Adenovirus.

The purpose of the foundation is;
- To support Adenovirus research and education
- Support families of children afflicted by Adenovirus
- Support community education programs for the prevention and treatment of Adenovirus
- Sponsor college scholarships at Southwest High School
